FAQ Questions & Answers

Stones and manufacturing

What makes your piece of jewelry by SABHA so unique.

– Where do the gemstones come from?

SABHA selects the gemstones in Jaipur from its trusted gem cutters. Gemstones typically originate from deep within the Earth and are found in various parts of the world. According to tradition, the raw gemstones come to Jaipur from all over the world to be cut and then shipped back across the planet to be crafted into sparkling jewels.

– Why does my gemstone look different than the pictures online?

The product image shown on our website reflects the actual product as closely as possible. Gemstones are natural products and may vary slightly; your gemstone is unique. Therefore, details such as the color of the gemstone may vary slightly. This contributes significantly to making your piece of jewelry unique and special.

– Who are the people behind my jewelry?

SABHA's collections are characterized by the high quality and naturalness of the stones, which are selected by trusted local dealers. SABHA is particularly committed to ensuring decent working conditions and resource-efficient, transparent processes in the production of its jewelry. This commitment is continually monitored, particularly through its personal relationships with the production facilities in Jaipur.

– Ring too small or too big, what can be done?

If you make a mistake, you have the option of exchanging the ring for a different size. See the exchange section. Almost all of our rings can be adjusted to a specific size upon request. Please let us know which ring you're looking for so we can provide you with more information.

– How can I determine the ring size?

Take a ring that fits you. Place the ring on a ruler and measure the largest inner diameter. Round to the nearest whole millimeter. The diameter is the measurement that indicates the inner width of the ring. If your ring isn't circular, measure the shortest inner distance.
16 mm/ size 50; 16.5 mm/ size 52; 17.2 mm/ size 54; 17.8 mm/ size 56; 18.5 mm/ size 58

Sustainable care

How to enjoy your jewelry for a long time.

– How do I store my jewelry?

If you don't wear your jewelry regularly, store it in a protected and safe place. A jewelry box in your bedroom is ideal. However, keep in mind that this storage option won't protect the silver from natural oxidation.

– How do I care for my jewelry?

Brushed jewelry is best cleaned with a very mild liquid soap. A chemical silver bath can also be used. Engraved jewelry should be cleaned with a jewelry polishing cloth. Soap is acceptable, but chemical baths are not. Electroplated surfaces, if brushed, may only be gently washed with soap; if polished, the surface should be gently cared for with a jewelry polishing cloth. A chemical bath can also be used for this purpose. Always proceed with caution, as the gold plating is a thin layer. Caution: Gemstones often do not like chemicals; inform yourself about your gemstone.

– My piece of jewelry has tarnished, what can I do?

It's normal for sterling silver to tarnish over time. This tarnishing process is accelerated by contact with factors such as perfume, salty air, sulfur, skin creams, hairspray, and chlorine, as well as the acidic pH of the skin. The extent to which jewelry tarnishes (oxidizes) depends on the wearer's skin type and grooming habits. Tarnishing is therefore not a manufacturing defect.
Depending on the surface texture, your piece of jewelry requires different care.

Therefore, please retain the receipt or give it to the recipient.
